Wedding Carnival Grounds
Circus’ are colorful, bright, and exciting! Don't all brides and grooms want a sweet adrenaline and an enjoyable, cheerful and thoughtful event? How about thinking outside the normal box- get into your creative box.
A great way to bring about nostalgia and delight is by putting together carnival food at your cocktail hour, reception, or after-party. It'll make your fun-tastic spirit fly and have the courage to walk the rope (but don't really do that at your wedding .. unless?) 😃
Fairgrounds are crowned with a little bit of mystery, a little bit of excitement, and a whole lot of happiness. From the sweet aroma of fried dough to the festive music, their ambiances are especially uplifting—they bring people and families together with fun and comforting food. You can bring the same thing to your wedding with only a few small but significant details shared below 👇
Cant forget the cotton candy!! No one can resist a cloud-like treat that comes in pretty pastel shades of blue and pink. This is probably going to sound silly but it's one of the most important and easiest things you can have for your guests at your wedding event. Strawberry, White Watermelon, Blue Raspberry, Pinkolisious, Hard Sour Apple, and even Yellow Lollipop 🍭 & much more than that!
With so many flavors you could make or purchase, so many ways to decorate and dish out. It's a little endless, actually. Just think about your favorite memory of a carnival cotton candy moment.. take your mind there....taste the sugar as it melts into your cheeks after a big bite....ah that's it! These are the desserts for the ultimate sweet tooth.
String them up on three posts (it'll be cute with three if you think about it, design it)
Grab your favorite board, decorate or create. Separate the cotton candy into smaller piece to put in tooth picks. Make sure your picks have a place to set on your board.
Set up a small wooden frame, decorate it and hang the cotton candy
Decorating a table and setting it all out in- cups, bags, tins, themed vessels, etc. Just don't forget to separate according to your likes!
Have some friends hand out mini cotton candy. They are easy to make @ home try this website if you want to get a good look into it - https://youtu.be/U9K2q8jR50w
Next best thing: Signs!
Edt & customize your sign for your attending guests. You will have the best time creating something that you have a joyful connection with. Even if you order out, this is always a fun part of the planning the decor. It is simple but elegant. You can make it as big or as little as it fits to your venue. Inside or out, your guest will think of all the hard work you put into something with such great detail.
Another one: The Faris Wheel 🎡
Just a few examples of small / medium Faris wheels. I think it is a cute idea to have tiny wheels on each table if you can't think of another table topper (or a tiny tent 🎪). But for the Wheel you could use it to have food served in for guests to pick out of, like finger foods.
The balloons collage is a cool fun way to bring joy into your wedding, makes the crowd feel as though you are a free spririt when you are reciting your vows.
