"A Small Amount of Happiness"
The colors of the autumn sky flow orange and yellow, filling this part of the world with the ease of settling down. Burning red and purple flares shine through the little cracks of the dark clouds. The wind calmly brushing up against the greenest of leaves on the tips of trees. While the brown ones fall to the ground with grace, there is a smell of softness in the air. A sweet mist is in the air of warm rain to come.
Happiness is supposed to be about the way your heart flutters when they speak. Light shiining through your favorite window at work. The smell of fresh cookies at your brother's house during the holidays. It is supposed to be the excitement of passing the most hardcore test you've studied for yet. But yet, in some hearts, they believe happiness only lasts but moments sometimes. And as that might feel to be true we have to keep going, right? Or are you letting them pass you by?
The moments we have passing by us could also be the best moments be right on front of us. Missing your daughters open house at school doesnt seem like a big moment to miss when it happens, but 15 years late and she is telling her friends how her soul hurts to see you show up for any other single person any other time. It lingers. The sadness of what could have been happiness. Letting it go is a good solution but it could haunt you. Believing that happiness can be in any moment is an easy way to see life. The days go on and the world seems bigger. Wherever you go, the places you see, the sounds you hear will be carried with you as a beautiful memory filled with happiness. No matter how small you may feel, you must tell youself how much more there can be.
If you choose to find happiness within the things around yourself, you will find you have a beautiful heart
The leave doesn't choose where it gets to fall. It falls because it knows the world will keep turning and the ground is it's new happiness. Finding the small amount of happiness can save something.
